MOORHEAD, Minn. — A goal helped Minnesota State University Moorhead climb within a 2-1 margin in the second half, but Bemidji State added three more goals to earn a 5-1 win over the Dragons in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Sunday in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM fell to 1-9-3 overall and 1-9-1 in the NSIC while Bemidji State improved to 9-5 overall and 6-5 in the league.

Taylor Maestas-Miller scored her first goal as a Dragon in the loss, while junior forward
Sienna Rebollozo and sophomore midfielder
Kylee Billings added assists.
Senior goalkeeper
Ashley Leintz had 11 saves for MSUM, which was outshot 34-9 for the contest by Bemidji State.
The Beavers led 1-0 at halftime and pushed the lead to 2-0 on a goal by Sarah Stram in the 63rd minute. The Dragons cut the lead in half to 2-1 after Maestas-Miller scored off of an assist from Billings and Rebollozo in the 68th minute.
Bemidji State regained the momentum late, scoring three goals in the final 17 minutes to make the final count 5-1.
Junior forward
Megan Selanders led MSUM with three shots, while freshman
Jessica Dallman had two, including one on goal.
MSUM continues its homestand next weekend, starting on Saturday, Oct. 24 against Southwest Minnesota State.
