MOORHEAD, Minn.— The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team ran into a tough test at home on Saturday and fell to No. 10-ranked Minnesota State, Mankato 5-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM fell to 1-4-3 overall and 1-4-1 in the NSIC while Minnesota State improved to 8-1 overall and 6-0 in the league.
The Mavericks outshot MSUM 32-16 and were led by a strong performance by senior Korey Kronforst, who had three goals and two assists.

The Dragons used three goalkeepers in the game. Senior goalkeeper
Ashley Leintz had seven saves in 36 minutes of action while sophomore Corina Eddington had six saves in 42 minutes of work. Sophomore
Reagan VonBerge played the final 12 minutes and had two saves.
MSUM wraps up the weekend by hosting Concordia-St. Paul at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
