Live Stats (Winona)Live Stats (Upper Iowa)Live VideoMOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team will go on its final weekend road trip of the 2015 season this week when it plays at Winona State and Upper Iowa. The Winona State game starts at 1 p.m. Saturday in Winona, Minn., while the Upper Iowa game will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday in Fayette, Iowa.
MSUM will meet Winona State for a 26th time with the Warriors leading the all-time series 19-6. Winona State has won 19 meetings in a row, including a hard-fought 1-0 overtime win over the Dragons in 2014. MSUM will meet Upper Iowa for a ninth time and holds a 5-3 lead in the matchup. Upper Iowa won the last meeting, 3-1 in 2014.
MSUM is 1-5-3 on the season (and 1-5-1 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) after dropping a pair of contests at home last weekend. MSUM lost to No. 10-ranked Minnesota State, 5-0 on Saturday and then suffered a 5-0 loss to Concordia-St. Paul on Sunday.

Ashley Leintz has 77 saves and leads the NSIC in saves per game (8.56). Leintz has two shutouts this season and has a 1.92 goals allowed average.
Rollie Bulock is in his 17th season as MSUM's head coach.
Winona StateWinona State is 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the NSIC. The Warriors split on the road last weekend, losing to Minot State, 4-0 before beating Mary, 1-0 in double overtime. Abby Bohanski leads the Warrior offense with six goal and 13 points. Kati Baker and Meg Riebau each have two goals. Mehan Bolton had two assists. Through 10 games Winona State has scored 13 goals. Rachel Oleson has started all 10 games in goal and has a 7-3 record with five shutouts. She has 38 saves and a 0.89 goals allowed average. Ali Omar is in his 21st season as the Winona State head coach with a record of 304-97-25 at the school.
Upper IowaUpper Iowa, which faces Northern State prior to facing MSUM, is 4-4-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the NSIC. The Peacocks split on the road last weekend, beating Mary 2-0 before losing to Minot State, 2-1. Madie Edwards is having a big year for Upper Iowa, scoring eight goals and recording 16 points. Nicole Poirier leads with two assists. Upper Iowa has scored 13 goals in 10 games. Kaitlyn Emanuel is 3-3-2 in goal for the Peacocks. She has two shutouts, 60 saves and a 1.21 goals allowed average.
Brian Diaz is in his third season as Upper Iowa's head coach with a record of 30-16-3.
