MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Dragon Athletics has set the date for the "Red & White" Dragon Pride Celebration & Fundraiser. The annual event is scheduled on Saturday, April 25!  This year marks the 10th Anniversary of our spring celebration and fundraiser for athletic scholarships.
 
"Over the past 10 years this event has changed, what hasn't changed is that it's an opportunity for Dragon alumni, fans, and friends to get together and support the athletic department and our student-athletes," said MSUM Athletic Director Doug Peters.  "It's a full day of activities that has something for everyone."

The day's events begin at Nemzek Hall with the Youth Soccer Clinic, Scorch's Youth Fun Run, Dragon Grill, alumni games, and the spring football and soccer scrimmages.  The ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Scheels Field will occur immediately after the football scrimmage.

The celebration will continue on into the evening with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott, Ballroom with food stations, a cash bar, entertainment by "The Collaborations", complimentary photo booth and, a silent auction.  In addition, the look of the new Scheels Field will be unveiled at the evening event.  Cost is $25 per person/$30 at the Door (21+ older). 
 
The proceeds from this event will benefit athletic scholarships at MSU Moorhead.
