Carly Masloski had a match-high 13 kills to help the Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team earn a 26-24, 25-13, 27-25 win over St. Cloud State on Friday night at Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead, Minn.

to lead the MSUM attack.MSUM is now 10-2 overall and 3-1 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with the win, while St. Cloud State fell to 5-7 overall and 1-3 in the league.
Masloski hit a strong .455 for the night and also added three block assists. Senior middle blocker
Kaitlin VanWinkle had eight kills and three block assists, while senior rightside hitter

Kelsey Hartkopf continued her strong play at the net with one solo block and five assists.
The Dragons hit .189 for the match while holding St. Cloud State to a .084 hitting percentage.
The first and third sets went down to the wire while MSUM dominated the second set.
In the opening set, the Dragons faced a 17-12 deficit about halfway through. They responded by outscoring the Huskies 12-5 over the next 17 points to take a 24-22 lead.
MSUM saw that lead disappear as St. Cloud State scored two straight to tie the set at 24-24. Grimm put home a kill to make it 25-24, and MSUM clinched the set (26-24) on an SCSU error.
The Dragons steadily pulled away in the second set to build a 17-13 lead. They got a run from there with junior defensive specialist
Katie Meyers at the service line, rattling off eight straight points to clinch at 25-13 win. Masloski had six kills in that set.
The third set featured 12 ties and five lead changes. MSUM found itself facing a 25-24 deficit in the set before kills by VanWinkle and Masloski helped the Dragons regain the lead 26-25. SCSU committed another error to help the Dragons seal up the sweep at 27-25.
Meyers had eight digs and two service aces for MSUM, while redshirt freshman defensive specialist
Monica Vega also had eight digs.
MSUM wraps up the four-match homestand on Saturday by hosting No. 1-ranked Minnesota-Duluth at 4 p.m. The Bulldogs were swept by No. 19-ranked Northern State on Friday night.
