MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team will play two more home games as it continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play this weekend. MSUM hosts Minnesota State at 12 p.m. on Saturday and concludes the weekend at 1 p.m. on Sunday against Concordia-St. Paul.

MSUM will meet Minnesota State for a 15th time with the Mavericks holding an 12-2 series lead. Mankato has won 11 straight meetings, with MSUM's last win coming in 1997. The Dragons will meet Concordia for a 20th time with the Golden Bears leading the series, 13-4-2.

"Given all the team's hard work it was very nice to get a result last weekend," MSUM head coach Christie Chappell said. "This weekend we have two quality opponents and coincidentally two really unique highlights for those games: parents day on Saturday and Kicking for a Cure to Dig out Cancer on Sunday.  It is great when you feel like your performance is giving back to something or someone and both games this weekend will really be dedicated to playing for something more."

Saturday is Parents Day and MSUM will be selling scarfs for $10 (cash only) that day. Sunday's game is MSUM's Kick Out Cancer Game.
