MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons look to remain undefeated as they travel to Bismarck, N.D. this weekend for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tennis matches. The Dragons face off against the Minnesota-Duluth at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and St. Cloud State University at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The Dragons (2-0) are going for their seventh straight victory over the Bulldogs of UMD (0-2) and a third straight win over the SCSU Huskies (0-2) The Dragons defeated the Huskies twice last season, including a 5-2 victory in last year's NSIC tournament.
MSUM did not lose a set in singles last weekend in 9-0 wins over Concordia and Mary. Seniors

Maria Moral Carretero and
Jessamy Jones and sophomores
Jade Goodyear-Anderson and
Ricquel Ramsbottom all earned 2-0 singles marks on the weekend. Jones was named the NSIC Player of the Week after her performance on the weekend.
The doubles tandems of Goodyear-Anderson and Moral Carretero, Jones and Wood and Ramsbottom and Smith all went 2-0 as well.
Oliver Summers is in his fourth year as MSUM's head coach.
About St. Cloud StateThe Huskies are 0-2 after losing the nonconference matches to Carleton (9-0) and St. Thomas (8-1) last weekend. Alexie Portz leads SCSU with a 1-1 singles mark. The Huskies were swept in all three doubles matches in both duals. Jerry Anderson is in his 19th season as St. Cloud State's head coach with a record of 296-146 at the school.
About Minnesota DuluthMinnesota Duluth is 0-2 on the season after losing nonconference matches to St. Scholastica (7-2) and Bemidji State (7-2) last weekend. Shelby Benkofske and Jillian Klasen lead UMD with 1-1 singles records. Benkofske and Drew DeCorsey have a perfect 2-0 mark in doubles this season. Jessica Worden is in her first season as the Bulldog head coach.
