MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team won six of the last seven matches on its way to a 23-9 dual win over Mary on Sunday in Moorhead, Minn. Major decisions by junior

MSUM finished the regular season at 8-7 overall and 3-5 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Mary fell to 7-12 overall and 2-6 in the league.
After the Dragons lost at 125, MSUM got on the board at 133 pounds when Bosch, ranked No. 2 in the nation, cruised to a 15-2 win over Tate Barnhardt to put the Dragons up 4-3. Bosch is now 28-5 and has won 20 matches in a row.
Mary captured a win by decision at 141 to take a 6-4 lead, but junior
Isaac Novacek picked up a 12-6 decision win over Jakob Weisbrod at 149 to put MSUM up 7-6 — it was a lead the Dragons would not relinquish.

Garret Hoffner improved to 16-10 on the season with a 9-6 win over Mary's Dane Fischer at 157, and freshman
Adam Blees earned a 6-1 win at 165 pounds to extend the Dragon advantage to 15-6.
Mary cut the lead to 15-9 with a win at 174, but the Dragons won the final three matches to secure the victory. Freshman
Austin May edged Mary's Jacob Green by a 3-2 decision at 184, while Urban picked up a solid 8-0 major decision win over Jonathan Pelach at 197. Junior
Nader Abdullatif capped off the dual with a close 2-1 win over Mary's Travis Smith at 285, making the final score 285.
Prior to the match, MSUM honored three individuals wrestling their final home dual. Urban is the lone senior on the roster while Hoffner and
Caleb Radley both will graduate this spring.
The Dragons are at the Super Regional 3 tournament on Feb. 27-28 in Sioux Falls, S.D. The event will be held at Augustana's Elmen Center.
