MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 contest to Northern State in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opener for both teams Sunday in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the NSIC with the loss while Northern State improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the league.
Anna Bondy scored three goals to lead the Wolves, including a goal less than 20 seconds into the game.

"Northern State played a very solid game and I think the moment got the better of us," MSUM head coach
Christie Chappell said. "Reagan had some very quality saves and
Jessica Dallman had some good attacking moments. We need to learn to put a full 90 minutes together with all 24 players which I'm confident we will do, it's a process."
The Dragons continue their season-opening homestand on Saturday against Southwest Minnesota State. Game time is noon in Moorhead, Minn.
