MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest in overtime to Winona State University in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play Sunday in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM is now 1-11-3 overall and 1-10-2 in NSIC action while Winona State improves to 9-6-1, 8-4-1 NSIC
The Dragons were outshot 14-7 with the Warriors recording seven shots on goal and MSUM with two.
Winona State's Chase Rehm scored in the 96th minute of play to break the tie.
Carly Jo Gamrath recorded two shots, including one on goal. Tomomi Nishihara had two shot, while Marie Griffith and Kendall Schauer each had one. Maren Soupir also added a shot on goal.
Senior goalkeeper Corina Edgington had six saves for the Dragons.
MSUM will take on University of Mary Friday at 3 p.m. in its last home game of the regular season before traveling to take on Minot State University Saturday at 1 p.m.
