MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team will wrap up the regular season this weekend as the Dragons host the University of Mary on Friday afternoon in their home finale before heading on the road to face Minot State in the season finale on Sunday in Minot, N.D.
Friday will be Senior Day for the Dragons as three seniors,
Jenai DeNardo,
Corina Edgington and
Reagan VonBerge, will be honored prior to the game.
The Dragons are coming off a weekend that saw them drop two NSIC matches. The first match was a 2-1 loss to Upper Iowa, while the second was a 1-0 loss to Winona State in overtime. The Dragons' lone goal against Winona came in the 27th minute when junior
Jessica Dallman scored her third goal of the season off an assist from sophomore
Maren Soupir.

Dallman leads the team with three goals, and is tied with senior
Jenai DeNardo for the team lead with two assists. The team leader in shots taken is Annike Greaney, who has taken 20 shots this season. The top goalkeeper has been senior
Corina Edgington, who has made 10 starts, allowing 13 goals and making 81 saves. Senior
Reagan VonBerge also has seen some significant playing time, making five apperances, allowing seven goals while making 31 saves. Sophomore
Kennedy Rodgers also has seen playing time, making three apperances and allowing just three goals.
About the Marauders
The Marauders bring a 9-4-2 overall record into the weekend, with a conference record of 7-4-2. They are coming off a split weekend where they lost to Minnesota State Mankato 5-2 before defeating Concordia University St. Paul 3-0. Their top goal scorer is a tie between Jade Smith and Megan Lowery, who both have seven goals. The assists leader is Caylin Cathey, who has five assists to go with her five goals. The top goalkeeper is Hannah Smith, who has made 15 starts, allowing 14 goals while making 65 saves.
About the Beavers
Minot State enters the weekend with a 11-4-1 overall record, and a 10-3-0 conference record. They enter the weekend on an eight-match winning streak, including a 2-1 win over Minnesota State Mankato and a 1-0 win over Concordia St. Paul last weekend.
