ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team closed the game on an 18-6 run on its way to a 66-60 win over Concordia-St. Paul Sunday in St. Paul, Minn.
MSUM is now 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference while CSP fell to 4-9 overall and 1-6 in the league.

Cassidy Thorson and freshman guard
Kiley Borowicz had 15 points apiece to lead MSUM while sophomore forward
Megan Hintz had 12 points. Junior guard
Jacky Volkert had nine points, seven rebounds and six assists while senior forward
Drew Sannes had seven rebounds.
MSUM shot 39.3 percent (22-of-56) while holding CSP to 37.7 percent shooting (23-of-61). The Dragons had a 42-37 edge in rebounds. MSUM's bench outscored the Golden Bears 26-5.
The Dragons were down 54-48 with 3:26 left but outscored the Golden Bears 18-6 the rest of the game to finish off the comeback win. Six different Dragons scored during that run: Volkert (four points), Hintz (four), Borowicz (three), Thorson (thee), senior forward
Shannon Galegher (two) and sophomore guard
Kourtney Selensky (two).
MSUM outscored the Golden Bears 26-17 in the final quarter. Volkert, Thorson and Borowicz combined for 18 points in the final 10 minutes.
The Dragons led by as many as nine in the first half and held a 26-25 lead at the break.
Selensky seven points off the bench for MSUM while Galegher had four points, six rebounds, two blocks and three assists.
MSUM begins at four-game homestand on Friday, Jan. 5 against Minot State.
