SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team led 9-3 after three weights but Augustana came back and won the final seven matches in a 32-9 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual win Friday in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Augustana is now 12-5 overall and 6-0 in the NSIC while MSUM fell to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the NSIC.
The Dragons lost at 125 to trail 13-7 but senior
Blake Bosch, ranked second in the nation at 133 pounds, turned the momentum with a pin in 1:44 over Augie's Javier Vieryra at 133 pounds. Bosch is now 24-1 on the season.
Sophomore
Kristian Vazquez added a solid performance at 141 for MSUM with a 10-5 win over Augustana's Austin Jordan to make it 9-3.
The Vikings seized control starting at 149, recording bonus points at 149, 157, 165, 184 and 197 on their way to the 23-point dual win.
MSUM wraps up the weekend Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State. The dual begins at 3 p.m. in Marshall, Minn.
