                     MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team will travel to Bismarck, N.D. this weekend for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches. They will face NSIC foe Augustana on Satuday at 5 p.m., and the University of Sioux Falls Sunday at 9 a.m.
About the Dragons
The Dragons are 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in the NSIC after dropping both their matches over the weekend. On Friday, they lost 5-4 to Minnesota Duluth, and on Saturday, they lost 5-4 to St. Cloud State.
Senior 
Jessamy Jones went 2-0 on the weekend at No. 1 singles, while freshman 
Olivia Keelin and senior 
Maria Moral Carretero also had 2-0 records in singles play. The Dragons went 8-4 in singles play on the weekend, but went 0-6 in doubles play.
Jones and Moral Carretero are each 3-0 on the season for MSUM while Keelin is 2-0. Jones and junior 
Ricquel Ramsbottom  are a combined 1-2 in doubles play.
Oliver Summers is in fifth season as MSUM's head coach.
About the Vikings
Augustana is 3-1 on the season, with a 2-0 conference record. They have wins against Southwest Minnesota State, Minnesota State Mankato, and a nonconference win over Carleton. Their lone loss came in a nonconference match against Division I Drake.
The Vikings are led by Meredith Lawrence, who has a 3-0 singles record. Kornel Staniszewska also has a 3-0 singles record, while Taylor Jackson has a 3-1 singles record. In doubles play, the Vikings are led by the team of Staniszewska and Berkley Darr, who are 3-0 on the season. Lawrence and Kaitlyn Motley also have a 3-0 singles play.
About the Cougars
The Cougars enter the weekend with a 3-1 record, and a 1-1 conference mark. They have nonconference wins over Ottawa and Doane, and a conference win over Southwest Minnesota State. Their lone loss came against Minnesota State Mankato.
The Cougars are led by Kara Bunkers and Abby Selgenthaler, who both have 3-1 records in singles play. In doubles play, Bunkers and Selgenthaler team up and have a 3-1 record.
