BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team fell to Augustana, 9-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Saturday in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM fell to 1-3 overall and 0-3 in the NSIC, while Augustana improved to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the NSIC.
"Every player tried her best and gave 100 percent and I couldn't ask for more than that," MSUM head coach 
Oliver Summers said. "Augustana is a great team and always sets the standard for the NSIC."
The Dragons didn't win a set in singles play, although the match at No. 4 was competitive. Freshman 
Alexis Konecne battled Christine Olivo tough before falling 7-5, 6-2.
The closest doubles match was at No. 3, where senior 
Maria Moral Carretero and freshman 
Emma Zamora hung tough before falling to Olivo and Kaitlyn Motley, 8-4.
MSUM faces Sioux Falls on Sunday in Bismarck, N.D.
