KEARNEY, Neb. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team lost a 1-0 contest to Drury University in nonconference action Friday in Kearney, Neb.
MSUM fell to 0-1 with the loss while Drury is 1-0.
Senior goalkeeper
Corina Edgington had five saves for MSUM.
The Dragons had four shots, including two on goal. Junior forward
Annika Greaney had two shots, including one on goal. Sophomore midfielder
Maren Soupir had one shot on goal while sophomore forward
Rachel Jenson had a shot.
"Overall it was a solid performance," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said. "We needed more composure to finish out chances. Cori Edgington made some big-time saves."
MSUM will face Nebraska-Kearney at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday in Kearney.
