MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team kicks off a three-game homestand this weekend with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contests. MSUM will host Wayne State (Neb.) at 3 p.m. on Friday and wrap up the weekend against Augustana at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Both games will be at the MSUM soccer field.
Sunday will be parents day for MSUM women's soccer. The players' parents will be recognized prior to the game vs. Augustana.
The Dragons will meet Wayne State for a 21st time with the Wildcats leading the series 12-6-2. The Dragons will meet Augustana for a 17th time with the Vikings holding a 15-1 series lead. MSUM's lone win came in 2001 in the first meeting between the two schools, a 2-1 win in Sioux Falls, S.D.
MSUM (1-4-2, 1-3-1 NSIC) dropped a pair of one-goal games last week to Minnesota Duluth (2-1) and St. Cloud State (2-1). Junior

Dallman leads MSUM with two goals and five points, while DeNardo leads with two assists and is second on the team with four points. Junior

Kylee Billings has an assist. MSUM has recorded 66 shots in seven games, including 32 on goal.
Senior
Reagan VonBerge is 1-1-1 in net for MSUM with a 1.15 goals allowed average and 15 saves in three games. Senior
Corina Edgington has 18 saves and a 1.18 goals allowed average while
Kennedy Rodgers hasn't allowed a goal in 55:55 of action. She has seven saves.
Christie (Chappell) Kopietz is in her second season as MSUM's head coach.
About Wayne State
The Wildcats, under the direction of first-year head coach Joe Cleary, are 2-3-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the NSIC. They went 1-1 last weekend, losing 4-0 at Winona State before rebounding for a 3-2 home win over Upper Iowa. Eight different Wildcat players have scored goals, with four players -- Hannah Knight, Christian Stasi, Shelby Bullard and Brooke Buzzell -- each have scored two goals. Knight and Stasi also have an assist and share the team lead with five points. Bryana Garcia, Sophie Ketchmark and Carleigh Wilson have two assists each. Rachel Grisham has been primary goalkeeper for Wayne State and has 49 saves in eight starts. She has a 2-3-3 record and has a 1.71 goals allowed average. Grisham has a shutout to her credit as well.
About Augustana
The Vikings, who will face Northern State after this program goes to press, are 5-1-2 overall and 4-0-1 in the NSIC as of this writing. They have won five games in a row and have not allowed a goal in six straight games through Sept. 25. Senior goalkeeper Taylor Machacek has a 5-1-2 record in net for Augie. She has 38 saves, a 0.70 goals allowed average and six shutouts this season.
Samantha Tymkowicz and Rebekah Thoresen each have five points to lead Augustana. Both players have two goals and an assist. Grace Behm and Claire Dahm each have three points.
