MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest to Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foe Wayne State in action Friday in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM fell to 1-5-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the NSIC with the loss while Wayne State improved to 3-3-3 overall and 2-2-2 in the league.
The Dragons had a slight 15-14 edge in shots in the game, although the Wildcats had a 10-4 edge in shots on goal.
"We created some good chances," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said. "We just need someone to be a game-changer and put their foot through the ball."

Corina Edgington had nine saves for the Dragons.

Carly Jo Gamrath had shots on goal for MSUM. Greaney had five shots overall while junior forward
Jessica Dallman and Griffith had two apiece.
The lone goal was score when Wayne State's Natalie Rech threw in a ball from the side that deflected off of the Dragon goalkeeper's hands into the net.
MSUM hosts Augustana at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
