MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team hits the road this week to face two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes on Friday and Sunday. MSUM will face Concordia-St. Paul on Friday at 7 p.m. and Minnesota State, Mankato on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Dragons dropped both matchups last season after a 1-0 loss to CSP and a 3-0 loss to MSU.

MSUM is coming off a homestand where they went 1-1. The team faced Wayne State College (Neb.) on Friday and fought for a 1-0 victory before falling to Augustana (S.D.) 2-0 on Sunday. The Dragons are now 3-10 overall and 3-8 in NSIC play with four regular-season games remaining.

Carly Jo Gamrath and
Tomomi Nishihara lead the team with two goals. Seniors
Jessica Dallman and
Kylee Billings each have one, as well as freshman
Jennifer Barnes who has one. Gamrath also has two assists to lead the team, and has a team-leading six points. Dallman and senior
Kendall Schauer have each added an assist on the year.

Kayleigh Sedlacek has played in all 13 games and has 112 saves on the year. She has a 1.46 goals against average in 1112:24 minutes of play. Her 16 saves against Augustana marked a career high.

About Concordia-St. Paul
The Golden Bears are 8-3-3 overall and 5-3-3 in NSIC play. Last week, CSP went 1-1 after dropping a 3-0 contest to No. 5 Bemidji State before earning a 2-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston. Concordia has out-scored the opposition 13-4 in the second half this season. Jordan Rowan-Stafford leads the team with five goals and one assist, while Jena Berkland and Brooke Salo each have four goals. Katri Gifford and Leah Johnson have each notched three assists on the year. Two goalkeepers have seen significant playing time with Jordyn Clark having started nine contests with a 1.00 goals against average. Emily Nelson has started eight contests with a .30 goals against average. Head coach Steve Bellis is in his eighth year at the helm.

The Mavericks are 11-2-1 overall and 9-1-1 in NSIC play. The Mavericks are coming off a 1-1 series where they defeated Minnesota Crookston 8-0 and dropped a 3-2 heartbreaker to Bemidji State in double overtime. The Mavericks are outscoring their opponents 46-11. Dakota Wendell leads the offense with 26 points (10 g-6 a)
. Julia Zach and Morgan Cottew each have six goals on the year, while Cottew has seven assists and Zach has six. Five additional players have more than one goal on the year. Alexa Rabune has started all 14 games at goalkeeper and has allowed 11 goals in 1297:18 minutes of play. Her .76 goals against average ranks third in the NSIC, and she has posted six shutouts this season. Brian Bahl is in his fifth season as the head coach.
