ST. PAUL, Minn. — A goal off a free kick with less than four minutes left lifted Concordia-St. Paul to a 1-0 win over Minnesota State University Moorhead in women's soccer Friday night in St. Paul, Minn.
MSUM fell to 3-11 overall and 3-9 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference while CSP improved to 9-3-3 overall and 6-3-3 in the league.
Jordan Rowan-Stafford's goal at the 86:31 mark lifted the Golden Bears to the win.
"We played and fought really hard," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said. "We created some moments to score, they just hit a great free kick. We're ready to battle again on Sunday."
