BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at No. 8 Bemidji State in action Friday afternoon in Bemidji, Minn.
MSUM fell to 3-13 overall and 3-11 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with the loss while Bemidji State improved to 16-0-1 overall and 13-0-1 in the league.
Facing their second straight top 25-ranked team, the Dragons managed four shots in the game, led by senior midfielder
Kylee Billings with two. Junior midfielder
Maren Soupir and freshman defender
Lauren Phillips each had shots on goal.
Freshman goalkeeper
Kayleigh Sedlacek had 11 saves for the Dragons.
"We played well," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said. "Bemidji is a very quality team. I'm proud of our effort."
MSUM hosts Minnesota Crookston at 1 p.m. on Sunday to conclude the 2018 season. The Dragons' seven seniors will be honored prior to the game.
