In set two, an ace from Koehn gave the Dragons a 10-9 advantage. The Beavers would tie the score, but a block from Carlson and Jenkins gave MSUM a 12-10 lead. It would seem that the Beavers were running away with the set as they went up 23-17, but the Dragons scored seven-straight points to take a 24-23 lead. A block from sophomore
Kylie Kanwischer and Kiewiet closed out the second set 28-26.
Â
Bemidji went up 8-4 early off kills from five different players. MSUM managed to take back the lead at 12-11 off a Kiewiet kill. BSU managed to separate themselves and took a 25-18 third set. The fourth set featured an 8-8 tie early off a block from Jenkins and freshman outside hitter
Madison Wassink. A solo block from Kanwischer allowed the Dragons to retake the lead at 16-15. A late push from the Beavers gave them a 25-22 victory.
Â
In the fifth and deciding set, the Dragons were up 5-1. The early lead featured three Dragon blocks. MSUM continued to push down the stretch and saw a 9-5 lead off a Kiewiet kill. BSU would pull within one at 13-12, but after an MSUM timeout the Dragons solidified the victory with a 15-12 fifth set.

MSUM wraps up the regular-season on the road tomorrow at 2 p.m. against Minnesota Crookston.
