Megan Hintz led the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's basketball team to a 65-51 win over Arkansas Tech at the Central Region Challenge in Kansas City, Mo.
MSUM is now 1-0 on the season while Arkansas Tech fell to 0-1.
Hintz had 16 points and 13 rebounds to pace a balanced Dragon attack. Senior guard

Kiley Borowicz each had eight. Sophomore guard
Lauren Fech had six rebounds and three assists.
MSUM shot 42.0 percent (21-of-50) while holding Arkansas Tech to 30.9 percent (21-of-68). The Dragons had a 45-34 edge in rebounds.
The Dragons led 37-26 at halftime, thanks to a 12-0 run over the final 5:40 of the half. Freshman guard
Natalie Steichen had five points while Borowicz drained a three.
MSUM's lead grew to 20 points in the second half as Fech converted a layup.
The Dragons face Pittsburg State at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
