Box Score 2 WEST ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team dropped the final two games of the Dragon/Beaver Battle on Friday. MSUM lost to Bemidji State, 3-1 and to Concordia-St. Paul, 13-2. All of the games at the event were nonconference.
MSUM is 1-7 on the nonconference season.
In the loss to BSU, freshman outfielder Elizabeth Johnson was 1-for-3 with an RBI, while freshman pitcher Becky Berth and sophomore designated hitter
Payton Gaber had doubles. Sophomore outfielder
Madison Paige and freshman first baseman Ashley McCance had hits for MSUM.
Berth pitched well in defeat, allowing just two earned runs in six innings. She struck out two and walked three.
In the loss to CSP, Gaber was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI. Sophomore shortstop
Emma Dummer added a double. McCance, Johnson and sophomore outfielder
Taylor Kelenic all had hits.

Tori White took the loss, giving up 13 earned runs in five innings. She struck out four and walked five.
MSUM is off until March 5 when it opens its Florida trip against Felician College.
