MOORHEAD, Minn. - The 2017-18 Red and White Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony is scheduled on Sunday, March 25 in the Ballroom of the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Refreshments will be served at 7 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m. that evening.
"I am always fired up to recognize our student-athletes for what they have accomplished," Â MSUM athletic director
Doug Peters said. "The awards ceremony is awesome because we get to recognize so many fantastic achievements both in the classroom and in the competitive arena."
Parents of the MSUM Student-Athletes, Dragon Fire Members, faculty and staff members, and Dragon fans are welcome to attend.
"Being a collegiate student-athlete is no easy task, and each of the honorees for this event have worked hard to embody what a Dragon should be," MSUM SAAC president
Shannon Galegher said "We're all looking forward to recognizing the success our athletes have achieved, both in the classroom and in competition."
The student-athlete awards and athlete of the year nominations go back to the conclusion of the 2017 spring season. Â The 2018 spring season and awards will be honored at the 2019 ceremony.
