The second set opened with the Wolves going on a nine-point scoring run before a kill from Gilbertson brought it to an end. A six-point run would give NSU a 25-10 victory in set two.
The Dragons tied the game early in set three thanks to kills from Selensky and Gilbertson. Northern would continue to prove themselves by going on another long-run. The Dragons would go on a run of their own to force a Northern timeout. Sophomore middle blocker
Kylie Kanwischer added a kill down the homestretch, but it would not be enough as Northern took the final set 25-15.
