MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Winona State in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Sunday.
The Dragons fall to 2-7-0 overall and 2-5 in NSIC play, while the Warriors improve to 2-5-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the NSIC.
Freshman goalkeeper
Kayleigh Sedlacek stopped a career-high 14 shots on goal in 78:25 minutes of play for MSUM.
Sophomore midfielder
Carly Jo Gamrath, sophomore forward
Jensen Odegaard, and senior defender
Kylee Billings each had two shots on goal for MSUM.
MSUM trailed just 1-0 at halftime, but Winona State came out of the break to score three unanswered goals in the second half.
The Dragons return to action on Friday when they travel to face St. Cloud State at 1 p.m. and Minnesota Duluth on Sunday at 1 p.m.
