MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team returns home this week for a pair of key games against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes. The Dragons will host St. Cloud State at 4 p.m. on Friday and conclude the weekend against Minnesota Duluth for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday.
MSUM is 3-3-3 overall and 1-3-2 in the NSIC. The Dragons went 0-1-1 on the road last weekend, tying Upper Iowa 1-1 on Friday and losing 2-0 to Winona State on Saturday. Freshman forward

Minnesota Duluth is 3-6 overall and 1-5 in the NSIC. The Bulldogs lost a pair of home games to NSIC foes last weekend, falling to Augustana and Wayne State. They've lost five in a row entering the weekend. Senior midfielder Emily Hinz leads UMD with five goals and an assist and leads with 11 points. Seven other players have scored at least one goal. Senior forward Nan Glinsek has three assists while sophomore forward Mandy Conkel with two. Sophomore goalkeeper Sophia Green is 3-6 in goal with a 1.32 goals allowed average. Greg Cane is in his 26th season as the UMD head coach with a record of 261-164 at the school.

Sophomore forward Claire Shea has three goals and two assists and leads with eight points. Junior forward Nicole Friis and junior midfielder Tatyana Gusakow each have two goals and four points. Sophomore Zoe Welsh is 3-3-3 in goal with a 0.80 goals allowed average. She has three shutouts and 44 saves. Gretta Arvesen is in her sixth season as the SCSU head coach with a record of 41-43-17 at the school.
