BISMARCK, N.D. —The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team earned a 7-0 win over the University of Mary in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Saturday in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM is now 12-3 overall and 8-1 in the NSIC while UMary fell to 12-3 overall and 6-3 in the league.
"Everyone showed amazing grit today," MSUM assistant coach
Ricquel Ramsbottom said. "UMary brought their 'A' game and every match was a fight but we came out on top. It was an excellent win for our team."
MSUM won the team doubles point, winning at No. 1 and No. 3. Sophomore

Olivia Keelin beat UMary's Tasha Dembo and Yusra Hegy, 6-3 at No. 1 while juniors
Alexis Konecne and
Emma Wood picked up a 6-2 win over Kali Askvig and Kelsey Lajom at No. 3 to help MSUM get the team point.
MSUM won all six singles matches in straight sets, as Geske, sophomore

Jalyn Kornblum all won in straight sets to give MSUM a 7-0 win.
The Dragons are off until March 29 when they compete at St. Cloud State.
