ORLANDO, Fla. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team lost a tough 4-3 match to Missouri Western in non conference action Thursday in Orlando, Fla.
MSUM fell to 10-3 overall while the Griffons improved to 6-3.

Olivia Keelin picked up a win at No. 1 doubles for MSUM, beating Mireia Birosta and Ciarra Gilmore, 6-2.
Sophomore Lorrisa Yuen won at No. 2 singles for MSUM, beating Birosta, 6-1, 6-1. Freshman
Rachel Nguyen won a hard-fought 6-3, 7-5 match over Missouri Western's Joanna Roman Abreu at No. 3 singles, while junior
Alexis Konecne prevailed over Gilmore, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
The match was 3-3 as the No. 5 singles match was concluding. In fiercely-fought match that went to a third set super tiebreaker, MW's Federica Salmaso edged Keelin, 5-7, 6-3, 11-9.
MSUM wraps up the Florida trip on Friday morning against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
