KEARNEY, Neb. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team earned a 3-0 nonconference win over Harding in action Sunday in Kearney, Neb.
MSUM improved to 1-0-1 on the season while Harding fell to 1-1.
"It was such a tremendous team win after playing 110 minutes on Friday," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said.

Maren Soupir, junior forward
Jensen Odegaard and freshman forward McKenzie Ickert had goals for MSUM while sophomore forward
Anna Steadland, senior defender
Lindsey Brownell and freshman midfielder
Jacie Osier had assists.
Senior goalkeeper
Kennedy Rodgers had three saves in net to preserve the shutout. MSUM did not allow a goal in two games this week.
The Dragons struck quick on Sunday as Soupir scored a goal off of an assist from Steadland just 1:31 into the game. The lead grew to 2-0 when Odegaard scored at the 22:44 mark of the first half off of an assist from Brownell.
Ickert's first collegiate goal came at the 55:44 mark of the second half with an assist from Osier.
MSUM plays its regular-season home opener on Sept. 12 at home against Michigan Tech. Game time is 4 p.m. at the Nemzek Soccer Field.
