BROOKINGS, S.D. — Minnesota State University Moorhead junior Chris Cook won the men's high jump during competition at the South Dakota State Division II Invite on Friday in Brookings, S.D.

Cook picked up the win in the men's high jump with an effort of 6-8 3/4.

Sophomore Shyrone Kemp was fifth in the high jump at 6-4 3/4.

Sophomore Ty Dawkins finished third in the 400-meter dash in 49.32 and freshman Kendrick Major was sixth in 50.46.

MSUM will send a majority of its team to the Bemidji State Open on Saturday.
