GRAND FORKS, N.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams wrapped up the indoor regular season at the UND Last Chance meet in Grand Forks, N.D., on Saturday. MSUM now turns its attention to the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships which are Feb. 28-29 in Mankato, Minn.
The Dragons had some personal bests on Saturday.
Junior
Clay Jackson ran a personal-best of 8.41 in the 60-meter hurdles in the prelims. He finished fifth in the finals with a time of 8.48. Freshman
Blake Goodall was fifth in the 60-meter dash in 7.41.
Sophomore
Austin Gruenberg was fifth in the 800-meter run in 1:59.41 which was a personal-best.
Junior
Tanner Berby finished eighth in the weight throw at 53-8 1/2 Freshman
Ben Oie threw a personal best in the shot put of 44-0 3/4.
Dragon assistant coach
Trevor Barry, competing unattached, won the high jump at 7-1. Dragon alumni
Spencer Ruebke, competing unattached, won the 3,000 meters in 9:06.08.
The NSIC Indoor Championships will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday with the heptathlon. Other field events start at noon while running events, led by the Distance Medley Relay, start at 1 p.m.
