The Dragons continued their winning ways in NSIC North play last weekend with 70-50 and 83-61 wins over Bemidji State. Junior guard Lorenzo McGhee averaged 18.5 points per game on the weekend for MSUM while junior guard Bryce Irsfeld averaged 11.5.
McGhee is averaging 14.7 points per game while redshirt freshman guard Jacob Beeninga averages 12.2. Irsfeld is at 11.0 points per game while senior guard Gatdoar Kueth averages 10.2. Sophomore forward Dane Zimmer averages 10.0 points per game.
McGhee averages 5.7 rebounds per game while Irsfeld averages 3.0 assists.
MSUM is scoring 78.3 points per game while allowing 67.3. The Dragons outrebound their foes 36.3-30.8
Chad Walthall is in his 11th season as the MSUM head coach with a record of 212-105.

MINNESOTA DULUTH
The Bulldogs, coached by former Dragon associate head coach Justin Wieck, are 2-1 on the season. They split at home last weekend, beating Mary 72-50 on Friday before losing to the Marauders 80-70 on Saturday.
Drew Blair leads UMD at 18.7 points per game while Austin Andrews averages 17.0 points per game. Joshua Brown averaged 15.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Blair leads at 3.0 assists.
UMD scores 74.3 points per game and allows 63.0. The Bulldogs shoot 47.2 percent from the field and are being outrebounded 35.7-32.0.
Wieck is in his third season as the UMD head coach with a record of 41-20.
