MINOT, N.D. — A goal in the 82nd minute was the difference as the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell to Minot State, 1-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Sunday in Minot, N.D.
The game was tied at 0-0 for more than 81 minutes until Daisy de Boer scored on a penalty kick to give Minot State the lead.
"It was two amazing performances," MSUM head coach Christie Kopietz said. "I'm really proud of the effort and grit this weekend."
Senior goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek had a great game in net with 14 saves. Senior forward Anna Steadland had a shot on goal.
MSUM is back on the road next weekend, starting on Friday at Southwest Minnesota State.
