DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell at Minnesota-Duluth, 1-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Friday night in Duluth, Minn.
Senior goalkeeper
Kayleigh Sedlacek had six saves for MSUM in the loss. UMD had a 15-2 edge in shots.
Junior forward
Mckenzie Ickert had a shot on goal for MSUM while sophomore defender
Allison Tharp had a shot.
"We played hard for 90 and had some opportunities to score – that's how soccer goes some times," MSUM head coach
Christie Kopietz said.
MSUM will play its final two games of the season at home, starting on Sunday against St. Cloud State at 1 p.m. It will be Senior Day for MSUM.
