MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team begins a stretch of four straight road games this weekend. The Dragons will face UMary on Friday at 4 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D., and Minot State on Sunday at noon.
The Dragons are 0-9 on the season and 0-6 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference after losses to Minnesota State University Mankato and Concordia St. Paul last week.
Senior forward Anna Steadland and freshman Emma Caito lead the team in shots on goal with five each. Freshman forward Ally Peters leads the team in goals with one and points with two.
Senior goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek has 49 saves and a 2.35 goals allowed average this season.
Christie Kopietz is in her sixth season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Marauders are 6-1-2 on the season and 5-0-1 in the NSIC conference after victories over Upper Iowa and Winona State last week. Freshman Kendra Park leads the team in goals with three, followed by senior Hannah Richter and freshman Brianna Ramey with two each. Sarah Cook is in her 10th season as head coach at UMary.
About Minot State
The Beavers are 7-2 on the season and 6-0 in the NSIC conference after victories over Upper Iowa and Winona State last week. Senior Sofia Lewis leads the team in goals with seven, followed closely by junior Chloe Allan with five. Senior Sofia Lewis also leads the team in shots on goal with 22. Chris Clements is in his third season as head coach at Minot State University.
