FARGO, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams recorded three NCAA qualifying marks at the Dakota Classic which was held Friday in Fargo, N.D.
Sophomore
Travis Joseph won the high jump an NCAA qualifying mark of 6-11.5. Senior
Chris Cook was third at 6-8.25 which was also an NCAA qualifying jump.
Junior
Shyrone Kemp won the high jump with an effort of 24-1, which was an NCAA qualifying mark.
Junior
Ty Dawkins won the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 6.92. Kemp was third at 6.97 which was a personal-best.
For the Dragon women, senior
Rachel Schumacher was second in the high jump with an effort of 5-4.5
Freshman
Paige Ziegler was second in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 9.18.
Senior
Tessa Schroeder was sixth in the pentathlon with a score of 2,901.
MSUM is off until Jan. 15 when it competes at the Mike Thorson Open at UMary.
