MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 6-0 contest to Bemidji State in action Monday in Moorhead, MInn.
MSUM fell to 0-3 on the spring while Bemidji State moved to 1-0.
Sophomore midfielder Callyn Johnson and sophomore midfielder Jalyn Bauer each had shots on goal for MSUM.
Junior goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek had five saves in 65 minutes while freshman Simone Lewald had one save.
"It's tough to lose a game like that," MSUM head coach Christie Kopietz said. "We kept fighting until the end and I'm proud of that. We are going to learn from this so we never feel this way again."
MSUM plays at Bemidji State on Friday.
