MOORHEAD, Minn. -- A goal in the final two minutes helped Minot State edge the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team, 1-0 in action Saturday in Moorhead, Minn.
 
MSUM fell to 0-5 on the spring while Minot improved to 5-2.
 
The teams battled to a 0-0 tie for the first 88:06 before Sofia Lewis scored to give the Beavers a 1-0 lead.
 
Senior Tomomi Nishihara had a shot for MSUM. Junior Kayleigh Sedlacek had six saves.
 
The Dragon seniors were honored prior to the game: Carly Jo Gamrath, Lauren Phillips, Nishihara, Megan Zander, Jax Wetteland, Jennifer Barnes and Jensen Odegaard. Barnes and Odegaard were not in attendance.
 
"It was an unbelievable effort in back to back games," MSUM head coach Christie Kopietz said. "We will miss our senior class greatly and know they will be doing amazing things."
