MOORHEAD, Minn. -- A goal in the final two minutes helped Minot State edge the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team, 1-0 in action Saturday in Moorhead, Minn.

MSUM fell to 0-5 on the spring while Minot improved to 5-2.

The teams battled to a 0-0 tie for the first 88:06 before Sofia Lewis scored to give the Beavers a 1-0 lead.

Tomomi Nishihara had a shot for MSUM. Junior
Kayleigh Sedlacek had six saves.

The Dragon seniors were honored prior to the game:

Lauren Phillips, Nishihara,
Megan Zander,
Jax Wetteland,
Jennifer Barnes and
Jensen Odegaard. Barnes and Odegaard were not in attendance.
