BISMARCK, N.D. -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to the University of Mary in action Friday night in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM is now 0-2 for the spring while UMary improved to 2-2.
UMary built a two-goal lead after the first 52 minutes but MSUM cut the lead in half in the final minute when sophomore midfielder Jalyn Bauer scored off of an assist from senior midfielder Carly Jo Gamrath. Bauer finished with two shots in the game.Â
Junior Kayleigh Sedlacek had 10 saves for MSUM.
The Dragons host Bemidji State on Monday at 1 p.m.
"We are grateful for every chance we get to step on the field together during this challenging time," MSUM head coach Christie Kopietz said. "We are looking forward to getting on our home field on Monday."
