FAYETTE, Iowa — The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team fell to Upper Iowa in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Tuesday, losing 25-20, 25-15, 25-18 in Fayette, Iowa.
Junior outside hitter Amanda Carlson led MSUM with eight kills. Junior hitter Bridget Witzmann and freshman middle blocker Summer Salettel had five each.
Freshman setter Halle Erickson had 17 assists while senior libero Sarah Petrbok had 11 digs. Carlson had eight digs and freshman Jadyn Feist had seven.
Carlson had one solo block and two assists.
Upper Iowa (8-2, 1-0 NSIC) hit .260 for the match compared to .072 for MSUM.
The Dragons (0-9, 0-1 NSIC) will play at No. 10 Winona State on Saturday at 4 p.m.
