MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to unbeaten Bemidji State in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Sunday at the MSUM Soccer Field.
The Dragons honored their soccer parents prior to the game.
MSUM fell to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the NSIC while Bemidji State improved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the league.
"I'm really happy with how the team competed today," MSUM head coach Christie Kopietz said.
Sara Wendt scored two goals for Bemidji State, which outshot the Dragons 14-3.
Senior defender Kaylee Parsons had a shot on goal for MSUM while senior forward Anna Steadland and junior forward McKenzie Ickert had shots.
Senior goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek had five saves for MSUM.
The Dragons are on the road next week, starting at game at Augustana on Friday, Sept. 24.
