SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell to Augustana, 4-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Friday in Sioux Falls, S.D.
MSUM trailed 3-0 at halftime and the Vikings added a second half goal to make the final count 4-0.
"Augustana is a tough opponent and we fought hard the whole 90 minutes," MSUM head coach Christie Kopietz said.
Senior goalkeeper Kayleigh Sedlacek had 11 saves in 60 minutes of action while freshman goalkeeper Simone Lewald had three saves in 30 minutes of play.
MSUM wraps up the weekend on Sunday at Wayne State (Neb.). at 1 p.m.
