WAYNE, Neb. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team fell on the road to Wayne State, 3-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action in Wayne, Neb.
Wayne State scored all three goals in the first half to build a 3-0 lead. The Wildcats had a 15-6 edge in shots in the game.
Senior forward Anna Steadland, sophomore midfielder Madeline Etter, junior forward Hallemae Nottage and sophomore defender Jessica Carlson had shots on goal for MSUM.
Senior Kayleigh Sedlacek had five saves in the defeat for MSUM.
The Dragons return home to host Minnesota State, Mankato on Friday at 3 p.m.
