WINONA, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Winona State in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Friday in Winona, Minn.
MSUM fell to 2-8-2 overall and 2-7-2 in the NSIC while Winona State improved to 7-4-3 overall and 5-3-3 in the league.
Winona State outshot the Dragons 17-4.
Senior forward, Mckenzie Ickert, senior forward Ava Kieser, junior midfielder Grace Heying and junior defender Morgan Bachelor had shots on goal for the Dragons, who trailed 2-0 at halftime.
Freshman goalkeeper Quinn Carter had nine saves for the Dragons.
MSUM is at Upper Iowa on Sunday.
