ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- MSUM took to the road on Sunday afternoon for a date with St. Cloud State. A match which saw the Huskies jump out in front early and beat the Dragons 3-0.
The Huskies came out swinging early in the match with St. Cloud State getting 12 shots launched in the first 45 minutes. Two of those shots found the back of the net with Jenna Dominguez scoring in the 28th minute. Dominguez scored her second goal of the game just over six minutes later to give the Huskies a 2-0 lead through 45 minutes.Â
In the 58th minute, St. Cloud State scored again on the leg of Niamhie Taylor-Hughes, giving the Huskies a 3-0 lead. A lead which would hold up through 90 minutes. With the loss, the Dragons fall to 2-9-3 in conference and 2-10-3 overall.Â

Jensen Seidel, who registered a shot on goal in 50 minutes of play.
Madeline Etter also put a shot on goal for MSUM in her 59 minutes of play this afternoon.
Quinn Carter had seven saves in net.
MSUM will close out their 2022 season in Aberdeen as they face off with Northern State on Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
