The Minnesota State University Moorhead soccer team will travel to Aberdeen, S.D., to compete against Northern State University at 5:30 p.m. this Thursday in the last game of the 2022 regular season for the Dragons.
The Dragons are 2-10-3 on the season and 2-9-3 against NSIC opponents after falling to St. Cloud State and the University of Minnesota Duluth last weekend. Freshman
Jensen Seidel leads the team in goals with four, followed by senior
Callyn Johnson with two. Seidel also leads the Dragons in shots on goal with 14. Freshman
Quinn Carter leads the team in saves with 59, followed closely by junior
Simone Lewald with 53.
Christie Kopietz is in her seventh season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Wolves are 8-4-5 on the season and 6-3-5 against NSIC opponents after defeating St. Cloud State and falling to the University of Minnesota Duluth last weekend. Junior Hannah Smith leads the team in goals with seven, followed by junior Mia Zagorski with four. Sophomore Megan Fastenau leads the team in assists with four. Bob Casper is in his second season as head coach at Northern University.
