ST. PAUL, Minn. – MSUM midfielder
Jensen Seidel has been named to the All-NSIC Second Team after a dazzling true freshman campaign.
Seidel, a Fargo, N.D., native had a promising first season in the Dragon soccer program. Playing in 16 games, Seidel scored four goals (on 24 total attempts) and eight total points with a .167 shot percentage. The four-goal mark was best on the Dragon roster in 2022.
Her 15 shots on goal were a team high as well which led her to a .625 shot on goal percentage. In total, Seidel played 832 minutes for the Dragons this season.
The freshman had her finest performance of the season in MSUM's 3-1 win over Southwest Minnesota State on October 7. Seidel finished with a goal and two total points in 53 minutes of action.
