GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team fell to Division I foe North Dakota by a 7-0 score in a nonconference match Sunday in Grand Forks, N.D.
MSUM fell to 0-3 on the year while UND improved to 4-5.
"We battled hard against a tough Division I opponent," MSUM head coach
Jason Thiner said. "We'll look to get into the win column next week against UMD and St. Cloud State."
UND swept all three doubles matches to earn the team point and then won all six singles matches in straight sets to pick up the win.
MSUM makes its home debut next weekend, starting on Saturday against NSIC foe Minnesota Duluth. The match begins at 3 p.m. at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D.
